ADREMED WIND® Revision Knee Prosthesis

The ADREMED WIND® Revision Knee Prosthesis System includes a wide range of modular components, allowing surgeons to tailor the solution to the specific needs of the patient during revision surgery. The system is composed of the following key components:

Femoral Component:

Available in various sizes and lengths to accommodate different levels of bone loss and anatomical variations.Constructed from high-strength, biocompatible Cobalt-Chrome-Molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloys, ensuring durability and proper load distribution. An Option for stem extensions to provide additional stability in cases of compromised bone structure.

Tibial Component:

Includes a modular base plate with options for augmentation pieces (metal wedges, blocks) to compensate for significant bone defects. Features a rotating platform design, allowing for a natural range of motion and reducing stress on the joint. An Option for stemmed tibial components to offer increased fixation and stability in the tibia.

Patellar Component:

A durable, wear-resistant polyethylene component that replaces the natural kneecap, offering a smooth interface with the femoral component.Available in different thicknesses and sizes to ensure optimal tracking and reduce patellar malalignment.

Modular Augments:

Tibial and Femoral Augments: Available in various thicknesses (e.g., 5mm, 10mm, etc.) to fill defects in both the femoral and tibial regions, ensuring proper alignment and stability.Distal and Posterior Femoral Augments: Help compensate for bone loss in the femur, providing enhanced structural support.

Tibial Wedges and Blocks: Modular components designed to address tibial defects and ensure secure fixation of the tibial tray.

Stem Extensions:

Available for both the femoral and tibial components, these extensions provide additional support by extending into the bone canal, ensuring deeper fixation in cases of extensive bone loss.

Articular Insert:

Made from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), the insert is designed to reduce wear and ensure smooth articulation between the femoral and tibial components.Multiple thickness options (e.g., 9mm, 12mm, etc.) allow for personalized alignment and joint space restoration.
